Final Destination 3 allows the audience to choose the fate of the characters. At certain scenes the audience will be giving two options, for example heads or tails, or the temperature on a tanning bed. The scene will be paused whilst the audience chooses and this will determine the outcome of the scene.

This allows the audience to become engaged in the film and puts them in a position whereby they are dictating the direction of the film and certain scenes.

This is highly interactive as the audience will use there remote to select a choice and watch the scenes as their decision unfolds on the screen.

I feel this is a highly engaging feature as the audience are not just passively observing the film, they become part of the film and this creates a bond with the audience.

Having the ability to choose the direction of the film also means that there a many outcomes to particular scenes and this will also encourage the audience to watch the film again and choose alternative outcomes to what they did in their previous viewing.
